One of our favorite smoothie recipes is the Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie by Medical Medium! It is not only tasty and has a lot of nutrients that your body will love, but it also helps detox and clean out heavy metals that have been stored in your body.

Detoxing your body from heavy metals can take a weeks and months, but by incorporating these foods, particularly through a daily smoothie that combines them all, you can significantly reduce the heavy metal load in your body for improved health. Your body will thank you that you did!

Medical Medium Heavy Metal Detox Smoothie

Medical Medium’s Heavy Metal Detox smoothie will help you in detoxifying your body and removing harmful heavy metals such as mercury, lead, aluminum, nickel, copper, and cadmium from your organs. These heavy metals can be found in everyday items like aluminium cans and foil, cookware, and even the food we eat. Heavy metals also come from hard-to-avoid sources like pesticides and herbicides, making it likely that most people have been accumulating these metals in their bodies for years, embedding them deep within our tissues. Even if you eat a clean organic diet, you will have a hard time avoiding these.

Given our modern environment, avoiding these metals entirely is nearly impossible, making it crucial to actively remove them from our bodies. Fortunately, integrating specific foods into our diet can facilitate this detox process.

Heavy Metal Detox smoothie ingredients

The smoothie contains the following 5 natural and detoxing ingredients:

A detox smoothie made with spirulina powder, perfect for heavy metal cleansing.

Spirulina. This algae targets the brain, nervous system, and liver, also enhancing the heavy metal detoxifying effects of barley grass juice extract powder.

Barley Grass Juice Powder. It makes mercury ready for absorption by spirulina and draws metals out of various organs.

Freeze-dried ingredients - same as fresh, but with a longer shelf life

A really nice online store selling the most incredible organic and freeze-dried products is worth checking out – Centralsun! It is an Estonia-based store, but they have fast shipping worldwide, but be sure to check out shipping and customs if you make a purchase.

The products are really high quality and have all nutrients conserved because of the freeze-drying process. And the shelf length is really good too! So, this is an absolute go-to option worth checking out, if you can not always find fresh blueberries or cilantro in stores close to you.

Heavy Metal Detox smoothie side effects

Starting a new daily habit of a heavy metal detox smoothie can be beneficial for reducing the body’s heavy metal load, but it’s important to approach it with awareness of potential side effects. The ingredients in the detox smoothie, like spirulina, cilantro, and barley grass juice powder are potent in their detoxifying effects. Some individuals might experience symptoms associated with the detox process.

As heavy metals are released from your cells some individuals may experience temporary symptoms often referred to as “detox symptoms.” These can include fatigue, headaches, dizziness, irritability, and flu-like symptoms. These occur as the body adjusts to the removal of toxins and should subside as the detox progresses. Please keep hydrated, be sure to eat healthy, move your body and rest when needed, and you will see that any potential symptoms will soon be history.
